In Japan, a business that buys and sells used goods needs this licence under the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act. Used Gear in Our Online Store
We will sell used items in the Used gear corner of our online store. Every used camera, lens and accessory is one of a kind. We inspect each item and describe its condition honestly. We are preparing our first stock now and will list items as they are ready.
When we sell cameras finished through our repainting trials, they will also be sold under this licence and always clearly labeled as repainted.
We Also Buy Cameras by Mail
For sellers in Japan, we also buy film cameras, interchangeable lenses and camera accessories you no longer use through our mail-in buyback service. We give you a provisional quote from your photos, and we pay the postage when you send your items to us. As the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act requires, we verify the identity of each seller.
Looking Ahead
We will continue to comply with the Secondhand Articles Dealer Act and other applicable laws so that you can buy and sell with us with confidence.
This notice is also posted on our Announcements page. For questions about buying or selling used gear, please use our contact form.
